Animas Water Company Update 04.09.2020

Dear Animas Water Company Members:

We here at Animas Water Company hope you are doing well during this difficult time. During this unusual time of social distancing we wanted to reach out to our customers to let you know that Animas Water Company is open for business. We are committed to ensuring our public water supply is safe. As an essential service to our community, our office will remain open and will continue to address our customer needs. One of our main priorities during this time is to protect the health and safety of our customers, and employees. With an abundance of caution, we are urging our employees and customers to please follow CDC guidelines by regular handwashing, using disinfection procedures, using personal space recommendations, and utilizing masks when needed.

In an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and to comply with the directive from the Colorado Department of Health and Environment to cancel or postpone social gatherings, the Board of Directors and Staff made the decision to cancel the Annual Meeting scheduled to have been held on Monday night, March 23rd, 2020.  Our commitment to protecting the health of our communities and everyone involved in our activities made it vitally important for us to take appropriate safety measures.

In order to minimize personal contact, we want to take this opportunity to remind our customers that we do offer multiple ways for our customers to pay their monthly bills at no charge.  We have a no-contact payment drop box our office located at 7271 CR 203 (The Animas Valley Grange building) as well a payment drop box at PJ’s Gourmet Market on their customer service counter. By partnering with Xpress Bill Pay, we not only offer electronic billing, but also the ability to pay your bill over the phone or online using a debit / credit card or checking account.
